Earlier this week Microsoft announced their plans for delivering their commercial cloud services from Canada. This is a big announcement for Microsoft, as it opens up the doors considerably in the Canadian market for highly regulated industries and governments that need their data stored on Canadian soil. Having this data reside in Toronto and/or Quebec City now means that secure Canadian industries will be able to take advantage of Microsoft’s suite of cloud-based solutions such as Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics CRM Online.
This announcement is also great news for Introhive clients.
Introhive already offer an option for storing customer data on Canadian soil through our partnership with Peer1 Hosting. Storing Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online data in Canada now means that all customer data will reside on Canadian soil and not just their relationship data.
